I know I left a review for On On... another went poof!
I love On On. I especially love that it's on the way home from playing golf at Ala Wai. The cake noodles rock.
I've been coming here for 30 years when the other people owned it, and stayed on after it changed hands. -

Went there with my family and the food was great as always! Very consistent and so fast! My dad orders there at least once a month and it's one of the best Chinese spots around.
On a side note I dropped my wallet and the owners daughter found it and returned it. Nothing was missing too! It made my day!!! Can't tell you how happy I felt. It's like getting pulled over for running a red light and then the cop letting you go! Haha! Thank you!!!!!!! -

$15 for walnut shrimp and I have to pay more for rice? Excuse me if I come from the mainland where a scoop of rice is included with every meal.

Actually it's a 3 1/2 because the servings are smaller than usual for the price, but better tasting and fresher than other Chinese restaurants.
Shrimp walnut - 4 stars - the best I've had. The shrimp' s batter was crispy and they drizzled sauce on it so it wasn't heavy in mayonaisse like other restaurants, but smaller serving for a higher price.
Peking duck - 4 stars - half order for a reasonable price. They serve the skin with the duck instead of separated and served later, so I could enjoy the duck and the skin with the bun altogether.
Lamb stew - 4 stars - delicious lamb stew in a stone pot.
Stuffed eggplant - 3 stars traditional that has a strong taste of blackbean, which wasn't to my liking, only because I don't care for black bean.
Overall, the food is tasty, but a little higher than other Chinese restaurants. Small parking lot right in front. Right next to Leonard's malasada if you want dessert after. -

My favorite dish here is Roast Chicken with Cake Noodles because I love their cake noodles. It comes with roast chicken and choy sum, covered in an oyster sauce. I've found that their honey glazed shrimp with walnuts is also a winner.
